Making A Difference

The Benco Family Foundation is making a difference, smile after smile. We are dedicated to improving the dental health and quality of life in our local communities, and around the world.

Home base is Northeastern Pennsylvania. This is where the Benco Family Foundation began its efforts to improve and grow our community through the vision of Sally and Larry Cohen in 2005. And here’s how we’re continuing to do it…..

Lance Greathouse, Equipment Support Field Technician (Desert), spent three days volunteering for the Colton Cowell Foundation, which provides a superhero experience for terminally ill children.

Members of the Operations Team volunteered at Luzerne County Head Start and assisted with a number of projects and enjoyed spending time with the students.

Lisa Fuller, Director of the Contact Center, and Beth Hastie, Director of Warehouse Logistics, help sort healthy meals for the students.

Two groups of Benco associates volunteered at Blue Chip Farm Animal Rescue. Volunteers helped Blue Chip staff on a number of projects like walking the animals and cleaning kennels.

Benco associates participated in C.A.S.U.A.L. Day, which raises awareness for colorectal cancer in northeastern Pennsylvania and teaches individuals the importance of screening and early detection.

Volunteering at the Saint Vincent de Paul Soup Kitchen. St. Vincent de Paul Kitchen responds to the unmet need of poverty and hunger in the Wyoming Valley by serving over 300 men, women, and children a day.

A group of associates went to CEO Food Bank to help staff unload donations and create food boxes for seniors in our community.
